Our goal is to provide a warm touch to those in need.

Our handmade items are created, each stitch with love, to pass along the message that someone cares.

Sometimes just knowing a complete stranger created a beautiful hand knit or crochet item just for you is enough to brighten even the darkest day.

The project is ongoing, without time limits, specifications for size or style or strict quality control guidelines. We welcome novices and encourage experienced crafters to pick up the needles (or hook) and teach a friend.

Our volunteers are your friends, neighbors, grandmothers, coworkers, family members, fellow commuters, students and employers.

Knitting Blankets Because of our flexible timelines, interest in ALL crafting styles and our willingness to provide all that we can, our volunteer base knows no social economic boundaries.

What we need are your skills knitting, crocheting, quilting, weaving and sewing. Bring your needles and join us creating "textile art" to warm the soul, both yours and the recipient.

We are a 100% volunteer organization creating children's hats & scarves, baby afghans, adult lap afghans and soldier hats.

As our volunteer base grows and our production expands, we continually add organizations to our list of those we support. Checkout our Who We Support page for details.

What we need is your time and talent crafting afghans of any size and style, hats & scarves for children (all ages) and soldier hats. Join us knowing someone needing a warm touch will feel the love you put into your item(s).

We ask for:

A commitment of one item
One good story to share in our newsletter
One word of encouragement
One wonderful pattern to pass
on to others

We fully research the organizations receiving our items to insure the intended recipient receives our gift.

We provide pickup and delivery of materials, patterns and finished articles.

We organize shipping, solicit sponsors and provide contact, newsletters and support for our volunteers.
