No Cost To Volunteers

With the economic challenges many of us face, people simply do not have the resources to donate completed quilts or afghans. Not to worry, Warm the World solicits donations of material goods to supply to our volunteers making it no cost to volunteers. What great fun putting together the colors for an afghan or quilt from the donations received. Challenging at times, but as more people find out about Warm the World, more donations are received and our yarn room stays stocked with brilliant colors.

Here's one of our partners, working to provide supplies to Warm the World:

White Rock Weaving Center, in Dallas, Texas, conducted their first month long yarn drive in August 2005, and it was such a huge success, Anna Rose Berry, owner, stated they will continue to accept donations throughout the year.

And finally, in addition to the yarn drives, several estate donations have been received from our website.
